I have years of classroom experience in mainstream as well as special education need settings. I do now sell myself. I do not know how. It suffice to say that my passion for teaching was seeded when I was a toddler and my mother, a village teacher, dragged me through the snow and darkness to work because she did not want to let her pupils down.
Suffice to say that I have Primary Teaching, qualification, Secondary Teacher of Mathematics and BPhil in social emotional and behaviour difficulties. BPhil degree means I can create curriculum, set up provisions. Parents of my tutees speak on my behalf and so do agencies I work through; What does exam solutions say about me: They adore you, do you have a slot?" Students: " thanks to you I passed my exam " My most recent achievements; I have a tutor group of year 11 I have been tutoring sine year 8: Kangaroo , Mathematical challenge gold , silver and bronze three years in a row. They are currently level 9 on all mocks, except 90% autistic pupil who is level 7 aiming for level 9.
Last year, tutoring 100% autistic boy went from level 0 to maths level 6 and statistic level 7.
I can only suggest that you follow your heart and what it tells you in selecting the tutor for your chid.
