I am 23 from London and have a BCs (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Plymouth. I have 3+ years of experience in both mainstream and Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools and 1+ years of experience with face-to-face tutoring. I completed a 120-hour course with the TEFL academy so am fully qualified to teach English as a foreign language. My lesson style is interactive. I will first have a relaxed talk with my student about what their goals are and if there are any areas they are struggling within. From this, I will create personalized lesson plans using a range of fun activities and resources that I have accumulated over my years as a teaching assistant. My average lesson would consist of a warmer activity to introduce the topic of focus for that session, then we will move on to the presentation section where I will go into more depth about the topic. Then the more interactive part of the lesson may begin where we will enjoy activities based on your learning and topic, such as role-play games or word fill sheets (these activities will depend on what you are comfortable with). Lastly, we will end with any questions or parts of the topic to go over and a brief discussion about the next session.
Please feel free to contact me if you wish to see an example lesson plan. I hope to hear from you soon!
