Hello!! :)
My name is Sky and I am a second year Biomedical science student at Napier university.
I have Highers in each of the main STEM subjects from high school at a minimum of a B and love to continue learning about all 3 of the big sciences and maths.
I have previous experience as a tutor as I was a tutor to fellow classmates in school and would help with the learning support departments as well. Which gives me vital experience at helping people with additional needs to understand complex topics and ideas using different wordings and teaching styles. I myself have a few additional needs which also gives me insight to how to best tackle being overwhelmed by too much information, I feel the need to inform you that I do have mild Tourette's Syndrome which does (very rarely) include swearing but this will not affect the quality of my tutoring.
I believe that every learning style is important and that educators should listen to what the learner needs and adapt their style to best fit.
Ideally I would like to be informed of the topics and level that you would want help with so I could make sure I am well versed in it prior to any tutoring as no-one knows everything. I am happy to create slides/word docs to assist any tutoring if that would help most as well as supply diagrams and such. If you learn best by quizzes/testing I would also happily create those upon request.
