Being a tutor was always a role I looked forward to engaging in once I had started my higher education. I am currently a first year medical student studying at King's College London. I thoroughly enjoy maths; if it wasn't for medicine, I would've probably done my degree in maths! I'm well versed in all the concepts and believe in my ability to help others excel in maths too. I received a 9 in GCSE Maths Higher (scoring 93%/ 224 out of 240), and I have sat my A-Level Maths exam in the summer of 2024, obtaining an A (83% / 248 out of 300). I have participated in the UKMT and achieved bronze and silver awards, proving my excellent maths skills academically.
With a competent, encouraging and easy teaching style, I can explain a variety of concepts over a range of GCSE exam boards. Due to my recency with Maths exams, I am up to date with the specification and different methods to explain exam questions. The order in which I work in would be for the student/parent to message me about the topic they would like, I can then arrange for the correct worksheets and exam questions. I can also help work through school work/homework tasks. The student/parents must tell me if they would like worksheet/exam questions in advance, so I can prepare material.
I only tutor online, and use my laptop and an interactive screen to explain concepts, unfortunately this screen can only be written on by me.
