understand that most students might find it daunting to ask tutors and teachers any questions as it may make them "look like a fool." However, I encourage any students to ask as many questions as you possibly can - to be able to invoke a level of curiosity within a student is important for their progression of the subject. Moreover, I also encourage students to be independent and resourceful when doing further studies - an earlier start to this will be good practice for, not only higher education, but employment in the future.
I will ensure that lessons are interactive and challenging, but most importantly I want to make sure that there is a degree of enjoyment in what you are learning. Within an hour, rather than quantity, I will make sure the quality of understanding is given to a higher level. I will do this through methods such as blank-memory retrieval and flashcards to test the student's ability to recall rather than recognise information, and additional situational and exam-style questions to test the student's ability to apply their knowledge.
In my experiences, I have studied in an award-winning independent school in the UK for eight years and received grades A*-B running from GCSE to A-Levels. Furthermore, I had received all 5 of my university offers to study law in the UK - one of which was placed 11th best law school in the UK in 2022. I pledge to make certain that I will deliver lessons and tutoring at the highest merit.
