I am a Native English Speaker and have over 12 years experience teaching English as a foreign language.
I have a CELTA, a TEFL Certificate as well as a Bachelor Degree in English and Drama.
I have taught English in the UK, Europe, Asia, South America and Africa.
(Students aged 7 to 60 in school and university classrooms, corporate boardrooms, privately and online.)
I was born in South Africa but I have residency in Ireland as my mother is Irish. I have a neutral British Accent.
I have extensive experience teaching all levels of English including Business English. I am very comfortable teaching adults as well as children. I have taught English in Europe, Russia, South America, Africa and India. I enjoy sharing my language skills and helping students become confident and proficient in English allowing them to communicate better when traveling or in their business projects. I have a basic knowledge of Italian and Spanish. My students have always complimented me on my patience, kindness and creative and communication skills as a teacher.
It brings me great joy to see my students excel in English Presentations at work, in Accredited Exams and projects at school.
I am also a writer/storyteller and documentary filmmaker/photographer and coach youth in a range of creative fields like photography and filmmaking. I am also passionate about animals and the environment and travel whenever I can.
I really enjoy meeting and talking to people from all over the world, teaching English is less of a job and more of a passion for me.
