I love the idea of helping students through their journey towards their goals. I have experience tutoring for different curriculums such as Edexcel, OCR, AQA and many more. I, myself was the first cohort to sit the new 9-1 GCSEs so I am well versed with the layout and content of the papers. I also did a lot of online tutoring during Covid which allowed me to develop methods to keep student engagement high. I also have extensive experience tutoring children with learning difficulties and special needs and am confident that I can help them achieve to the best of their abilities!

I have been tutoring for the last 7 years in a number of school subjects including English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Business Studies, Economics, 11+ and UCAT. I have taught children from the ages of 5-18 so have plenty of knowledge on how to engage students and make the tutoring sessions engaging and exciting for them.


I always ensure to create an individualised plan for each student after our initial conversation and grasping the kind of learner they are by understanding what teaching style works for them in school. I also try and present as many resources as possible so that students have a range of materials to utilise in their studies and revision. Additionally, attempting to grasp what topics and areas they struggled with in school allows me to focus more on understanding and then consolidating their learning so that they are more confident in a school setting and within their wider education.

I have experience with all GCSE exam boards but in particular have the most knowledge in Edexcel, OCR and AQA. I understand the requirements and the depth of topics that need to be covered in order to score the best grades. If your child is doing another exam board, I will ensure to fully learn the curriculum before tutoring them.

My past students have become more and more confident in the knowledge that they obtain which ultimately helps them in exams. Many of my students have increased their grade profiles by 2 grades higher than they're predicted. Ultimately, they are now more confident in their own knowledge and feel as though their ability to answer questions in classrooms and exams has strengthened, which is the most valuable thing to come out of education on a individual level.
