- I believe every student has potential, and that potential can be reached if properly nurtured and cultivated. I am an experienced Maths & English Tutor, with a Masters Degree in Zoology with Marine Zoology.

- My experience working as a marine specialist/educator in South Africa - as well as 4 years of doctoral studies - has given me the foundational tools to be an effective science communicator to people of all ages, backgrounds and educational levels.

- My lessons are an easy-to-follow format, starting from the basics and working up to more advanced levels as weeks progress. I enjoy using visual cues, interactive discussions and plenty of enthusiasm.

- The content of my presentations will be in segments, where the student will be introduced to learning objectives for the following days/weeks etc. Those objectives will essentially be chapters of each module.

- I am open to private tutoring for individuals, or taking on small groups of students. Lessons can last from between 1-2 hours, full days or set days every week (can be discussed).

- Lessons are tailored to learning styles of all students, since class sizes are small.

- My lessons allow students to discuss key concepts in a group setting, or alternatively discuss key concepts with me on a one-to-one basis.

- Learning is supposed to be fun! I want my students to get passionate about the subject matter they are learning about. We will dive into core material and make it a fun and interactive part of your day!
