I worked in a fast paced environment where it was essential to communicate confidently in German and English and being able to translate between the languages. I also raise my kids bilingual. Like with any language learning vocabulary and grammar is only part of being able to speak a language. Most people struggle to overcome their shiness. They feel scared to make mistakes. This is where I come in. I want you to become confident in speaking German. Learn by speaking. Make mistakes in an environment that makes you feel safe.
There are apps and websites that help you learn a language but nothing beats a real human conversation and instant feedback!
