WAYS TO SEE

Nestled in our jeans’ back pockets and handbags we have a single tool for self-exploration, readily available to us at all times - mobile phones, or more specifically, their tiny camera lenses. In this workshop we embark on a journey to discover how, by venturing out there into the world and capturing the moments in time we find interesting, we can become our own creators, writers and poets, with nothing more than intention and attention. Becoming projectors of the sorts we begin to connect the dots, the images we take and write stories that connect with something within us, patiently waiting to be discovered. With a little curiosity and creativity, we write and transform our own stories.

During these sessions, we follow some practical physical and creative exercises, learn how to ground ourselves in our bodies, get out of our minds, connect with our senses and let our curious inner child explore the world through the eyes of wonder and play. This is the very foundation for anyone who wants to become a photographer, has fallen out of love with this craft, or simply anyone who wants to experiment with this art, even if it's just for sheer pleasure and enjoyment.
