Simon Mpho Nthoesane

I always describe myself as a person who gets the job done, no matter how challening it can be. I have written my own books and question papers based on how students think, and that says a lot about me when it comes to innovating. I have ten years of teaching experience, and throughout these years of teaching, I have managed to succesfully equip students with adequate knowledge and skills, to help them think critically and improvise. I used to be taught in a way that didn't work for some students, and that ignited passion in me to create a better learning environment for all the students. The learning material that I created takes a student step by step, and I also record my live teaching sessions because the videos can help students that want to revise at their own time. Each week had its own set of exercises and tests to check students' progress on the learning units, and if there's a problem, I quickly sacrifice my own personal time to help the students that are struggling. Education is not just a job, but a calling. My name "Mpho" means "Gift", I believe that I am a gift to the people that need to accomplish their dreams and those who are still seeking for a career path. I have always learnt new things, and I still had the urge to teach people those skills, because I love helping people from the bottom of my heart. I always review on my behaviour and approach towards teaching students, and I love being corrected.
