I previously gave online English courses to Turkish students attending primary and secondary schools during the pandemic period. I generally prefer to use colorful, entertaining, eye-catching and abundant visual slides that I've carefully prepared according to the age group. Since I believe that a language is best learned by speaking that language, I frequently ask my students questions and let them express their opinions, so that the students can practice and gain self-confidence when speaking English in front of other people. I also give easy and fun tasks and assignments to teach students to include English in their practical lives. By adding movie, series or cartoon scenes to my presentations, selected according to age groups and the theme covered, I ensure that students do not forget the words and sentence structures they have learned with their favorite cartoon, TV series or movie scenes.
