Siddiqah Karim

Hi I'm Siddiqah, I am currently an MA student in Political Philosophy at a top 5 university in Spain based in Barcelona and completed my BA in History at a Russell Group university based in London.

I'm very passionate about education and I truly do enjoy learning and sharing knowledge.

I love to read, socialise and relax. I completely understand the difficulty of maintaining a life alongside studying which is why I teach my students how to be efficient and critical in their studies to ensure they can still have a life.

I love to talk about literature, and even though I do read classics, I appreciate all genres but romantic comedies are definitely my guilty pleasure.

I'm hoping to continue to travel in the future and living abroad.

On top of English and History, I am actually quite good at Maths and sciences, and I enjoyed the subjects equally during my GCSES.

I studied Literature, History and Economics at A-Levels, and enjoyed all of them. My forte is literature, a subject in which I've always excelled in, but as a humanities student it means I am talented in a variety of subjects.

I tailor and personalise sessions for each student but I especially take into consideration BAME students, as a woman of colour within academia, I really want to mobilise the community and therefore I find it especially important to ensure education is taught in an accessible and adapted way - specifically those who might be excluded from the way the education system is designed.
