I don't have a particular set format that I use, as this will be unique to you, your own learning styles and any other needs that can impact on the sessions (for example, if you find yourself unable to concentrate, we might look at taking a break or changing things up to see if this helps).
The content of sessions can be completely flexible. As a trainee clinical psychologist I have a range of skills that can support you to develop. I am also still in academia myself, meaning that all of this is still very 'fresh', from essay writing to the dreaded stats sections!
In terms of dynamics, I am friendly and supportive with hopefully just the right amount of 'challenge' to help push you towards your goals. My own route into psychology was not traditional and so this is also something that I am willing to discuss for those currently doing their undergrad. I'm a VERY firm believer of there's no such thing as a 'bad'/'stupid' question, and actively encourage people to ask questions, no matter how small and challenge me on topics as this helps develop critical analysis skills and helps with active learning!
