I have volunteered in multiple schools in which I ran language-based focus groups ( this often involved being given a topic or specific grammar point to work on and then planning and running the group on my own) as well as being given the opportunity to teach classes (both planned and given by me ). As far as teaching style goes I am happy to plan the first session myself and then work with you to understand how I can model my lessons to best help and support you :). content I usually include in sessions varies from a back-and-forth question styles approach, planning longer essay-style questions together, marking and discussing externally completed work, and finally conversation practice.
