I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with over six years of experience teaching students of various ages and abilities. I specialise in Python, R, and Geography, and I’ve supported learners ranging from school pupils and university students to adult learners pursuing personal or professional development.

In programming, I focus on helping students build confidence and fluency in Python and R, whether they’re complete beginners or looking to refine their skills for data analysis, research, or coursework. I break complex coding concepts into digestible parts, using hands-on exercises, real-world examples, and plenty of opportunities to practise writing and debugging code. My lessons often cover topics like data wrangling, visualisation, functions, loops, packages like `tidyverse` or `pandas`, and working with real datasets.

In Geography, I bring the subject to life by connecting theory with current events and practical applications. Whether you’re preparing for GCSEs, A-levels, or university modules, I can help you build strong case study knowledge, understand physical and human processes, improve essay writing, and develop critical thinking skills. I can also support with GIS (Geographic Information Systems), mapping, and spatial data skills.

Each lesson is tailored to the learner’s goals and interests. I usually begin with a short recap, then introduce or deepen a topic through structured tasks and discussion, followed by a short reflection. I also offer optional follow-up activities to consolidate learning. My sessions are inclusive, encouraging, and designed to build both skills and confidence in a supportive environment.
