I usually provide students with home tutoring where I can monitor their progress and help them with any problem they have. I believe it is the student teacher relationship that goes a long way in developing understanding and trust. I have experienced that students are more comfortable while teaching in person. In terms of format and term, I prefer starting from the basics to know the understanding level of a student then matching the pace. It is different for different students and I like to take my time to make them understand without making them feel stressed. I believe if you understand the concept, you never forget it.
