I have experience tutoring in business and maths at GCSE level, using methods like slideshow presentations and written examples to thoroughly explain concepts to students. My priority is never for students to just mindlessly memorise information, but instead to understand and conceptualise it to be able to apply it to their studies. I make sure to communicate with the tutees to understand where their weaknesses lie and choose methods that will be most suitable to help them overcome their struggles.

I am currently in my second year of university studying BSc Environmental Science therefore I am able to teach maths, English, geography and the sciences at primary and GCSE level. I also took business studies as an A Level and have had experience tutoring the subject to GCSE students so I am open to tutor business studies as well.

Communication is key, in my opinion, so I always encourage students and their parents/guardians to voice their concerns to me about their studies or their preferred methods of teaching in order to figure out the best possible way of delivering our tutoring sessions.
