I teach first year medical students first year anatomy. The format of my lessons will start with me seeing where about you are in your mathematic skills. Fundamentals are very important which is why mental maths is vital for understanding mathematics. I will be teaching students to understand a method rather than just memorise it. This application of this into practise will allow them to score from grade 7 and above. When I was in year 11, we completed mocks exams in November. The grade I obtained was a grade 5(C) which an institution of medicine would not accept. Following from those exams, further examination was required in January after the winter break. My grade increased from a 5(C) to a 6(B). After months of working, practising and training my brain, I had managed to make mathematics a reflex. In my final GCSE exam, I obtained a grade 8(A*). In a matter of eight months, i have managed to jump 3 grades higher. This lead to me winning the maths award in 2019 for Higham Lane School out of 280 students. Thank you for reading my presentation and I look forward to be working with you.
