About me

I teach online on a one to one basis (unless otherwise agreed). I use teams, whatsapp, webex or discord for lessons.

I am happy to help with English grammar and presentation of work as well as following the curriculum. I can also provide additional work if required.

I am very flexible about hours provided, and can work around your schedule.

All classes must be paid upfront before class can commence. (Refunds can only be given if the class has to stop or be called off by tutor, or in exceptional situations).

Each class has to be paid, one at a time, or a block booking can be paid (Block bookings will work out slightly cheaper per class)

Free online 1st meeting (no teaching during this meeting, just discussions).

An online signed agreement will be provided when you sign up for tutorials. This will set out the rules for lessons, and protect both tutor and student from any issues.I currently have an Adult PVG certificate in place (Scottish version of DBS certificate.

Shirley Great was the greatest tutor I ever had. She have a good understanding of learning difficulties, and she is such a lovely and kind person., I was working with Shirley for past 3 years, and I felt she was always there for me whenever I needed her.

Shirley has really helped me in the meetings I have had with he. I found her to be a great help when I needed a hand in working through assignments for lecturers in college (as they aren’t always worded in a straightforward and clear fashion). I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a bit of extra help with studying, revising, or understanding the context of an assignment.
