I have 2 years experience teaching General Science, Biology and Chemistry in an International School in Saudi Arabia. I use different teaching methodologies depending on the learning ability of the children. Generally I give an explanation of the topic using power points and videos and then a worksheet will be given for the student to practice so that the student understands well. Then there will be some formative and summative assessments regularly to check on the performance level of the children.
For children who are slow learners I use both visual and verbal presentation of the lesson. Also the worksheets for them will be much less complicated one so that they can grasp the content easily.
There will be formative assessments in the form of pre tests and post tests to check the understanding of the child before doing the topic and after doing the topic.
