I am enthusiastic about teaching and accounting and committed to imparting my accounting expertise to students through dynamic and tested teaching strategies. I employed diverse teaching methods such as case analysis, project-based and game-based learning to make student learning fun and long-lasting in my over ten years of teaching accounting and auditing courses at the tertiary level. My industry experience varies from multinational companies, government and education entities, and small and medium-sized entities. I experienced working with end-to-end accounting processes; preparing financial statements, special management reports, and business plans; performing an entire financial audit cycle; and establishing internal control systems and processes reengineering. I commit to excellence in my work and find innovative ways to complete the task. The company’s Board’s commendation and my award as an Outstanding Instructor are testimonies to the quality of my work, both in the industry and in teaching. I also conducted seminars and training with professional participants on financial statement analysis, risk management, financial management, and accounting for non-accountants.

My extensive university education in accounting and consistent attendance to continuing professional education programs honed my expertise in the theories of business and accounting. My industry experience exposed me to a multicultural environment and enabled me to integrate theory and practice, which I believe is necessary for teaching.
