- My Experience & Students -

I have 5 years of experience as a teacher & tutor & head of Art. I am also a professional artist, graphic designer & illustrator.
I work with all ages, from Early Years - Higher Education, for all abilities.
I will tailor my approach & style of learning according to your needs.

I taught Art & Design as the head of the Art Department for 5 years. Tutored & consulted with clients to provide action plans for successful entry into top art schools & prepare portfolios for scholarships. Planned personalised, fun lessons and established relationships of trust and understanding with challenging students to aid learning. Consulted & entered pupils into multiple art competitions. Including a national Art competition of which a pupil came 2nd, receiving their award from Gillian Wearing at City Hall. As an artist, I am committed to updating my subject knowledge through active participation in the field of Art. I play an active role in the artistic community in multiple exhibitions, all year round internationally, and attended artist residencies abroad.

- About our lessons -

My teaching is student-centered & project-based. Meaning our sessions will take a personalised, goal-oriented approach. I will always include you in the planning of your sessions and consult with you to see which direction you would like to take your learning.

I design my own resources and plan creative, exciting lessons for each pupil. I am passionate about experimentation, boundary-pushing, & challenging pupils with new & fun techniques.

- Subjects -

I teach: Fine Art, Design Technology, Graphics, Adobe Suite, Visual Art Projects, Critical Studies, Art Submissions, Art Portfolios, Art Scholarship Applications, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Installation Art, and Textiles. Using a range of materials. 
I am knowledgeable in the History of Art & the contemporary art scene. 

- Portfolio & Scholarship consultation -

I have attended two of the worlds leading art schools (Slade school of Art & Central Saint Martins). As such, I have an in-depth understanding of higher education art applications. With a focus on Art portfolios, personal statements, biographies, general applications, and Art scholarship applications. 

I have experience helping students with their portfolios for entry into prominent art schools, colleges, and universities. I can also help with writing artistic Statements, Biographies, and applications. I can assess your work and give you written and verbal feedback.
