Welcome to my virtual classroom! I'm excited to share with you what my lessons are like and what you can expect when learning with me. Before delving into that, here's a little bit about me. I completed my undergrad in engineering and am currently pursuing PhD in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. That pretty much explains what excites me - working on exciting problems by framing and solving them through mathematical models, programming and surely developing new ideas while working with people along the line.
This is the exact framework I try to bring along when I'm assisting my students - understand where the doubt is, and then figure out the simplest possible way to explain it, perhaps with a lot of examples. And along the way we both learn. My experience of serving as a Teaching Assistant and an online tutor for over 2 years has taught me how to customize the approach according to each individual. Along with that I often bring in approaches that I myself as a student figured out to be simpler and more engaging than the mundane textbook approaches.
Finally here are the courses/ topics that I would be helping you out with - high school and undergrad mathematics, statistics, algorithms and computer programming. These are in accordance to the ones I use regularly in my work, but we can expand on the topics as and if required.
Hope to see you soon to work together on getting over your worries !!
