Hi.

I like to teach in a more casual informal and relaxed way. I also like to find out about you first and what you already know and what you are trying to achieve so that I can plan our lessons with that in mind.

So for example, I want to know if you are just looking to be able to have everyday conversations or are you looking to expand your vocabulary so that you can speak in a more articulate and professional manner., or perhaps you are wanting to be able to read and write English also. All of this information will inform our lessons. So the lessons will be highly individual and tailored to you so that you can get the most out of our time together.

I have taught adults for years during my nursing career, both formally classrooms and also in one to one informal sessions. My last nursing role before I retired was in a large teaching hospital abroad where I was responsible for the education of all the Staff Nurses in my department which amounted to 100 Filipino nurses.

As mentioned earlier, my style is relaxed and I do not set exams. There may be little tests along the way just so we can both see how you are doing, but these are not essential and so if you prefer not to be assessed in this way, thats ok as I will be able to assess how you are doing also by our lessons.

I am very open to learning what it is you are looking for and meeting that need to the best of my ability as in the end, all I want is for you to succeed and get out of our lessons what you are looking for. And when you do, that is what brings me immense happiness personally.
