I’m Sharon. I’ve been teaching for over 20 years. I use a variety of teaching methods, enjoy working with people of all ages and love a good joke. Learning should be fun! I’m also keen to deliver ICT skills for people trying to access employment as well as helping older people navigate the all confusing digital world in which we find ourselves.

I’ve taught a range of subjects including Business Studies, Business and Communication Systems, ICT Key Stage 3 (what’s not to love about creating a fun website on Google sites!!/Photoshop/Excel/Access/word processing, communicating through Business Documents - letter writing, CV preparation and constructing emails) as well as A level - Cambridge Technicals Spreadsheet Modelling and learning through games for primary school French!

I enjoy the finance part of the Business courses and have also experience in delivery of modules within Professional Business Services. (CCEA).

I have experience of delivering courses across a variety of exam boards.

I have experience or marking GCSE business studies with CCEA to gain a better insight of what examiners are looking for. This enables me to help students tailor their answers to earn the top marks.
