I aim to make lessons fun and immersive in a relaxed environment. I use visual aids to help students quickly learn vocabulary and play games with younger students to make learning English fun! I am adaptable and will tailor our lessons to suit your learning style to help you reach your goals.

A typical lesson may include a combination of reading, writing, speaking, and listening exercises or we'll focus on just one or two of these to build your confidence.

For students that are looking to specifically focus on essay writing, IELTS preparation and more advanced English, then we will approach the lessons to suit your individual needs and create a plan to work to achieve your full potential.

Currently learning a foreign language myself, I have personally found the best way to really grasp the basics is to listen to music, watch movies and attempt to read basic books or articles. This is an example of typical homework excersises I give to students to encourage absorbing a new language. This also allows us to discuss what you engaged with in the next session, naturally creating conversation which is a key component of developing listening and oral skills.

I also get students to pick a topic or subject they are interested in during the second session. An example could be a student loves to play sport. Every time we communicate we discuss the topic, the student becomes the teacher in this scenario, this encourages communication skills with a native speaker and makes learning fun.
