My sessions will be friendly and light- hearted. Respect and treating everyone equally is a guideline in my sessions. You will learn how to thread a sewing machine, how to put the bobbin in properly, different types of threads, the accessories that come with the machine, how to keep the machine clean and other sewing machine tips. Learning to stitch and the different types of stitches the machine has will be involved in the session. The sessions will run for 8 weeks a time and will be your choice how often you will join (I recommend at least one a week). It would be an advantage if you have your own sewing machine so you can participate as we learn in session. It is ok if you don't, you can still learn from watching. I have been sewing for 2-3 years now and find it rewarding. Theres lots you can make and to your specifications. To learn the basic skills can benefit in the long run as your skills adapt and you become more skilled. Starting young is a good creative step to becoming an accomplished sewing machinist.
