Yoga is an ancient yet modern practice. I would presonally as a teacher include the discipline of yoga in all schools. Why? Because it would improve everyone's life by making us realise that we are more than just our bodies and minds. My classes are held with this in mind. The goal is to be able to create the necessary space between our self and our ego. That is, the part of us that is afraid, that is stressed, insecure and feels all those other emotions that then generate 'low' energies. Together I want to take you towards high energies, to make you realize that there is beauty out there even when we are low, sad, stressed, angry, lonely.
My practice is gentle for those who have just started and can become 'more energetic' for those who practise so regularly. We will practise together giving importance to individual asanas but without dwelling too much on them. My practice is meditative. The objective is to lighten body and mind and create awareness. The objective is to be in the present. To learn to be in the present so that this presence will also accompany us one day outside the yoga studio. The asanas, the breathing are used to allungate, to soften, the body to make it aware of its holistic being. My goal is to calm the mind - yoga citta vritti nirodha. My goal is to begin a journey.
