As a qualified EAL teacher with a First Class Hons in English Literature and Language, I aim
to create an engaging and personal learning environment tailored for you. I am experienced working with children from pre-school into secondary age, as well as teaching adult learners from a variety of cultural and language backgrounds. As such, I am excited to tutor learners of all ages and abilities. All lessons can be online or in-person as suits the learner's needs.

As an English SATs or GCSE tutor, my English sessions are creative, dynamic, and student-centred. Whatever exam board you are working within, I aim to create a fun and engaging environment where students are equipped with the tools they need to thrive at Literature and Language. Whether analysing and interpreting texts, or crafting their own, I aim to help learners not only succeed but enjoy the process. Being highly aware that every learner is unique, sessions always aim to be personal, with space built in for students to discuss, share and ask questions.

As an EAL tutor, my teaching style is enthusiastic and encouraging. The content is built around the learner's needs, interests, and goals, drawing engaging comprehensible input from TV, music, fiction and news reports depending on the learners' interests. I especially aim to help learner's develop the skills that they may be weaker on, whether receptive (listening and reading) or productive (speaking and writing). Whether developing their language for conversational or professional use, we can develop a curriculum that most suits the learner.
