If improving wellbeing and mental health was one simple approach, we would not have the mental health crisis that is upon us now. It's a complex approach with many dynamics at play, and all at once. Having being trained in a range of therapies (CBT, Behaviourism, NLP, Floortime, play therapy, mindfulness & others), have 10 years teaching experience, studied psychology and neuroscience and personally suffered with poor mental health, I can assure you that not one approach independent of another could address effectively all the wellbeing & behaviour difficulties cases. In the current climate, experts in specific fields are recommending their approach, their ideal therapy but it is rare that one approach alone will suffice. There needs to be a seamless collaboration of all approaches and a bespoke system created for the individual.
