I'm a 1st-year medical student who is currently teaching newly started medical students at the university at UCLan. I've been teaching aspects of biology (e.g., Anatomy, embryology and etc), Maths and Chemistry at the level of high school (secondary school) and at the 1st year university level. My techniques generally involves going over the content for the week followed by questions related to the topic discussed. I like to do questions at the end of the topic discussed/tutored to ensure the students have understood the topic and they are able to apply the knowledge when tested. This especially boosts the student's confidence. If there is a content that requires more understanding, I draw the structures out while explaining for more visual understanding.
