- As according to my experience and analysis, students especially those at a young age, may have short attention spans and might only be able to focus for short periods of time. It can be advantageous to keep classroom lectures short and concise to maintain student attention and engagement.
- While I use lecture-based learning approach, The principal factor I use during my class is to involve every individual student input by making time for questions before, during and after the session. While this can make the lecture process longer, it can also allow students to engage with the material, comprehend it and remember it more easily.
- Moreover, inside the academic environment I also indulge students with visual cues in presentation such as icons, images and videos
- Make sure to use high-contrast colors and bold shapes and lines so students across your classroom can see and understand your messages.
- I use VEDAMO which is an interactive web conferencing tool for educators with an online whiteboard, breakout rooms, and full tutor's control over participants' actions.
