I am a passionate scientist who loves helping others with their studies! My favourite thing about tuition is the ability to watch other students grow and learn as a result of my help and their determination to improve! Tuition is a team effort and I hope that we can work together keep you on top of your studies. A-Levels are tough, but I made it through mine-with the aid of some brilliant tutors mind you- and I will help you do the same!
I start lessons by introducing a topic and letting the student talk about what they understand about said topic so that I can gage their understanding. If needed, I will then talk to them about the topic before doing some worked examples with them and then giving them a chance to do questions by themselves! This is a very general lesson structure, and can be adapted over time to fit your needs. I’m always open to lesson suggestions, and keep trackers of my students’ progress in topics over time so that we can both track improvement!
As exams approach, we will work through past papers together to ensure the student is fully prepared for their final exams and correct any misconceptions they may have on any topics.
A typical lesson will last 1 hour, but can go up to 2 depending on your needs! I’d recommend 2 hours a week of tuition minimum on any A-Level subject-but especially Chemistry as it’s got so much content and is a very dense subject.
