I am aware of the national curriculum for science, which I persoanlly believe is a bear minimum a student should receive; from my experience, younger students will never be inclined towards science through a standardized curriculum; they need to know about the wider applications and the diverse fields in science, which will help them carry on to study science at A level and then onto university and eventually into a career. To make science engaging, a good teacher will add fun and exciting experiments.

My interest in learning science had begun at a tender age. I then established that I could change my hobby into a career, this was a very happy feeling. I trust that I can remodel my passion, diligence, zeal and zest for chemistry and science in general, into practical teaching prowess and expertise. As a teacher, I will have an opportunity do this every day, with the chance to instill into my students the passion and interest that I have for chemistry
