I have studied Japanese for a total of 9 years, and have been teaching for 5. I have spent a year abroad studying Japanese in the Saitama prefecture. I am continuously working to improve my own Japanese ability as well as my lessons, so that I can deliver the best possible experience.

I teach using the textbooks Genki 1 and 2 as well as the Basic Kanji Books. My lessons are a mixture of reading/writing and grammar. I incorporate games and songs into my children's lessons, and tailor all my lessons to my student's interests and needs.

You will learn how to read and write Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji, as well as how to speak and listen in Japanese. The subjects covered include: Personal introduction, verbs, adjectives, nouns and more.
