Hi there,
My name is Teacher Shaira Mae Delos Reyes, you can call me Teacher Shai or Ma'am Shai. I am born and raised in the Philippines.

My teaching philosophy is simple. I use a hands-on technique and I make effort to really know them individually. I incorporate fun into my lessons when possible. And while my easy-going style is suitable for many subjects and grades, I am also able to adapt my style to the needs of the student. I prefer to keep my lectures lively by using music, films, and even memes to assist my students understand how native speakers use the language and to immerse themselves in the culture of the language they are studying. What I can assure to them is that I have these skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience.
I enjoy grammar, but I understand that not everyone does, so we will always talk a lot and try to get you to stop overthinking and focus on communicating. Before determining what to do, we may always schedule a trial class to discuss your expectations and needs. It will be my pleasure to assist you in learning or improving your English.
I don't pressure my students for I believe that every individual is unique and has its time frame in learning,but I became stern if needed. But don't worry, I will make sure that our classes will be engaging and informative, hoping to know you and learn from yu as well.
