My teaching method is more relying on the student's background and learning type; which way the student learns better, Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing Preference, and Kinesthetic way. I prepare visual presentations and video materials before the lesson to increase visuality. I use whiteboards to practice derivations and solve problems.
I teach in an interactive way by asking motivational questions to brainstorm before starting a new concept and having an idea of what we are going to discuss and what is interesting about it.
-Introduction and motivation
-Skills will be gained at the end of the lesson
-Projects in the lesson
I demonstrate some experimental tools and assign students to prepare relevant items to perform the experiments for both understanding the concepts and the homework projects.
-Problem solution technics and example problems
Solving problems is the best way to process what we learned, so understanding the logic of it this part is also essential.
-Exercises to remember new concepts
This is about practicing and being ready for the exams.
-Applications of the concepts and interesting facts
Understanding where to see the physics around us is important for seeing the world around us from a different view.
-Short revision and assignments
The ending comes when we revise briefly what we have learned, and tips for the next lesson. When you have a clear vision of what you have learned in the last hours is important for having completeness about the aims, and it is like checking navigation in your path, seeing what is left and what is next.
All the steps mentioned are vital to follow in my lessons and students are encouraged to be ready for the plan to reach the mutual goal of success.
