Shafeequah (Shaffy) Muhammad

Hi, my name is Shaffy (Shafeequah) - currently a PhD student studying aluminium composites at Brunel University. As a child who was home-educated and later attended school where I had outstanding tutors, I appreciate the challenges of self-learning and keeping up with a school syllabus. My tutors understood how to listen effectively, present a challenge and explain topics in a way supported me in reaching my academic goals. These are the most important qualities that I bring to each lesson.

My expertise lies in teaching Maths, English Language and Chemistry, from the primary school level up to GCSE (Maths up to A-level). As a teacher, I strive to break down concepts into easily digestible parts and provide tips and strategies that allow students to confidently take exams. Many of my students have seen a clear improvement in their performance and exam scores, as well as increased confidence in the subject.
