Hi, I am Sayid from Mauritania and I teach Arabic language since 2008 . My strategy for teaching is to make the students love the subject first. By encouraging them to take a trip and travel through the language and I'll be with during all the stages.
We will start from scratch and build our vocabulary day by day.
We'll try to move from words and verbs to sentences and paragraphs and through that I try to make them feel that l not just a teacher, but big brother and a member of a family who care about them during the class and out of the class too.
Arabic language is one of the most wonderful, beautiful and the richest language in the world.
Therefore, I will try directly and indirectly to convince them to discover that beauty and enjoy the hard efforts that they make to be familiar with the language.
It is a fantastic opportunity to discover a wonderful world. We won't satisfy with basic rules only. No, we will move slowly to the poetry and literature. That is the treasure of Arabic language.
Not only that, but each student will feel that he or she was special and his or her cooperating and sharing the rest of the students the ideas were appreciated by the rest of the class really.
Finally, no one can say that all students are equal in their thoughts and intelligences, but by showing them how they are important and encouraging them to achieve their goals, you can make the difference. Because the positive and confidence person can effect others and make them believe that they can be something.
