I'm a student at the University of Plymouth with 2 years experience of tutoring maths. I achieved a grade A in A-Level Maths and a grade 9 in GCSE Maths. I'm passionate about tutoring and helping my students achieve their full potential by providing them with personalised instruction and guidance.

General format of my lessons:

My lessons we will start with some warm up questions on the topic we would've gone through the previous lesson. Then we will go through these questions and check them and after that we will be able to move onto another topic. This topic you will choose and will preferably be the one you need most help in. I will then run through an overview of this topic and help you to understand the main principles. Then we will practice a few questions together and we will slowly increase the difficulty. Once I feel as though you have a strong understanding of the topic we may move onto some past paper questions. I will let you go through some on your own and then if you get stuck I will go through it with you. After you have finished these questions, we will then properly go through all over them and I will be able to give you any advice or tips on what you could have done better. In the end will ask you how confident you feel on this topic and if you want to spend the next session going over it again. Hopefully this way I can be 100% sure that you are confident in the topic area and ready to ace it when it comes up in the exams!!
