I am a native English speaker from South Africa, and for the past 4 years I have been working as an English Foreign Language teacher in Spain. I have also been learning Spanish, so I know how difficult it can be to learn another language!
My lessons are tailored to the needs of each student. If you are preparing for an English exam, our lessons will be structured around the four key skills: reading and use of English, listening, speaking and writing. However, if you are not specifically preparing for an exam, I find it best to focus on communication skills that allow you to use English in the real world. The priority will be building your confidence and equipping you to go out there and use your new skills. If you only use English in a specific environment - perhaps for work - our lessons will focus on the most relevant vocabulary and skills.
I believe it is vitally important for students of any age to enjoy their language lessons, because this is when we do our best learning, so I do my best to get to know each student and customise our lessons in such a way that they are interesting, engaging and useful for the individual.
