I am a firm believer in understanding the concept of the question well, then hammering the technique into the brain via practice questions. Through this methodology I was able to get 2 A*s in Maths and Further Maths, then also be accepted into the University of Cambridge to study Engineering. A typical lesson would start with recap on the previous lesson through the form of a shirt quiz, afterwards we would dive into the topic of study. Afterwards an exemplar answer would be shown to understand where you would get marks in a test. To finish off, there would be practice questions to do.
