I ensure that there is always a positive atmosphere, in which the students feel fully supported and looked after. I work directly with the students, praising their work, encouraging them through challenges, and rewarding their effort. I support students who are struggling, and help them push forward to achieve their full potential. I communicate progress and key information to the parents, making them aware of any repeat errors or difficulties which the student might have. Together, we ensure that the student can continue to advance and excel in their learning.
I make sure that their work is completed properly, and in a timely and efficient manner.

I structure my sessions around my student’s needs, I understand that as school progresses a student might need help in different areas. As such, though I create a long-term plan for my students, this plan is also flexible and can be changed to suit the areas where the student needs more support. I understand that each student is different, and responds to a unique teaching style. My lessons are tailored to the individual student, and as we continue to work together, I can provide a teaching format specific to them, to help them successfully achieve their goals. I believe the best way to encourage learning is to challenge students and reward high effort and participation. I encourage progress, and am always thrilled to see my students advance towards meeting their goals.

I make sure my lessons are new and exciting, both revising the content from the previous week whilst introducing new content. I help with comprehension, new teaching, and essay writing techniques, alongside assisting them to create productive work and revision timetables to ensure they achieve their academic goals and exam success.
