I am a private tutor with experience and expertise in one to one and onto many tuition.I have been into this teaching profession for over 15years .
Over the years of my teaching experience,,I have learnt and practiced different teaching strategies,methods,approaches and presentations for my learners.
I have adopted math classroom teaching strategies using ,teaching to concept, engagement,and mixed overview.
And there are other methods and approaches used for tutoring ,among of them are assessment,problem solving,teaching guidelines,Repetition,mathematical instructions to mention but few.
Moreover,I have learnt how to structure any time allocated for me ,to tutor a class for either 30minutes ,45minutes or 60minutes.
Below is the example how to manage and structure a 60minutes mathematics class.
1-5minutes .Computer bell ring
5-20minutes. Review last night
homework
20-50minutes. Teach today's lesson.
50-60minutes .Go over homework.
60minutes. Dismiss the students
The structure of the time will depend on the time allocated for any class of mathematics given.
