Over my 23 years playing the violin I have been lucky enough to study with some of the best violin pedagogues in the world today.
My lessons are tailored to each individual student and I remain always flexible in my approach to teaching them.
Lessons will focus on building a fantastic technical foundation - bow hand, bow arm , posture , left hand , intonation and vibrato to name a few aspects and then also on the musical aspects about how to become an artist and become involved with music as an interpreter - working on styles and traditions of all kinds of music.
I am an active performer in the uk as a recitalist , chamber musician, soloist and orchestral musician.
Teaching is my absolute passion as I want to pass on my knowledge to anybody who comes to study with me.
Results from my class speak for themselves as every student I have ever taught has achieved distinction in there ABRSM exams as well as gaining entrance into junior and senior conservatoires in the uk.
I try my upmost with every student I teach to create a foundation for them which is so strong that should they want to seriously study music as they get older it is an option - and if they do not pursue it as their main career for sure they will have an excellent foundation and education in music making them a very fine amateur musician.
