Sebastian El-Homsi

I aim to ensure that my students thoroughly understand the content they have been taught; meticulously going through their exam board's specification in order to effectively prepare them for their exams. Helping to increase problem solving skills, my students and I go through challenging questions together, ensuring they are given the chance to attempt questions entirely on their own. Furthermore, I understand how important exam technique is - it is a necessary skill in order to gain the most marks. I teach my students how to tackle a paper from beginning to end, ensuring the highest accuracy and performance. I hope to make my students enjoy the subjects they learn, showing them easy and helpful ways to understand tricky concepts. Finally, my teaching is very student based. We go through what they feel they struggle on the most, while also ensuring we get through the entire specification. I like to start my lessons with a recap of the previous, and end my lessons by setting a small piece of homework based on the content just learnt. Flexible, friendly and dedicated, I will ensure my students feel satisfied and prepared for their exams.
