I am an architectural designer and researcher with first class degrees from the Architectural Association (MSc) and the Bartlett School of Architecture (MArch). My lessons/tutorials are tailored to the individual requirements of students studying an architecture course or those applying to study an architecture course at University.
I take on a supportive role for design students developing their design project and portfolio. I offer tutorials tailored to improving your design project as well as other required submissions. I will make suggestions for how to improve your design portfolio and presentation skills in accordance with the direction given by design tutors and general course requirements.
Tutorials will focus on a student's current status in their design project and will work towards improving design quality, critically assessing project narrative and communication in the portfolio.
For prospective students I provide tutorials to improve application portfolios as well as skill-building prior to beginning the university course.
In terms of purely technical CAD and drawing skills, I am able to provide particular support for students who need to learn Rhino as well as working extensively with the scripting interface Grasshopper.
I have experience in design teaching, having taken on teaching roles at the Bartlett and acting as a design critic at schools in the UK and internationally (Central Saint Martins, University of Cambridge, Bauhaus School of Architecture Weimar).
I look forward to working with you!
