I have amassed over 15 years' experience as a musician playing violin and piano, covering a wide range of styles from classical to folk to popular music. My lessons can be structured as easy or as intense as the student sees fit. My main goal is to spread an appreciation for music, and to enable my students to find their own voice while playing.

I can also provide lessons in music theory, with an emphasis on practical and contextual application through my students' favourite songs, making them better musicians overall.

My hope is that my students will not only learn technique in my lessons, but also gain an appreciation and understanding of the music they are playing. I aim to augment these experiences with my knowledge of music theory and harmony, as well as the history of music.
