Hello everyone, and welcome to my profile!

My name is Scott, and I am a qualified teacher and tutor from the United Kingdom. I have a degree in German and Spanish studies, attained at University in the UK. I have since gained seven years’ experience in teaching languages to foreign learners, both in a classroom setting and also online.

In the summer of 2017, after completing a degree German and Spanish studies, I began teaching English online to foreign learners. Then, between 2019 and 2022 I spent three years in Shanghai, China, where I taught English in bilingual schools there.

Since then, I have been working online as a private tutor, giving classes in both English and Spanish. Because of my time living in China, and also the fact that I now spend much of my time in Latin America, my students come from all across the world.

Between my university studies and employment, I now have over 12 years experience in modern foreign languages. As such, I believe I know exactly the best methods to get students, of all ages, learning said languages.

You’ll find my classes fun and engaging, and as such I have no doubt that you’ll enjoy learning your new language. As a result of your increased enjoyment, you will be able to retain far more information than you would normally.
